Costa Rica

Adventure and relaxation all in same place. You could zip line among the clouds with the forest tree tops far below you, ATV around Mt. Arenal, take a night walk to see snakes, sloths, and spiders, or hike one of the mountains. You can also relax in natural hot springs, lay on a gorgeous beach, or take a boat trip to see the turtles and fish. Costa Rica is gorgeous and has the most relaxing vibe.

Having lived in Denmark for six months, the appreciation I have for Denmark is intense. Denmark is home to super friendly + funny people, LEGOland, + Michelin restaurants everywhere. You have medieval Europe that makes you feel like you’re living a fairytale while putting you in the future with it’s design + architecture. While reserved with strangers at first, they Danes know how to have fun. Hygge is a real thing, even though there is still no English word for it.

Ireland

Ireland is home away from home. The best way to see it is renting a car and driving around to admire its natural beauty. Cliffside towns, rolling green hills, and abandoned castles wrapped in vines. Don’t even get me started on the friendliness of the Irish, the fun you will have in pubs with the trad music, or the cutest dogs you may find on your adventures. Truly one of the best places on earth.

Lapland, Finland

The Lapland region is a once-in-a-lifetime visit, often for people chasing the aurora borealis or a visit with Santa. The surprising part? The food is incredible and there is so much fun to have. With some of the best high-end designer shopping, the freshest sashimi, karaoke on every corner, the coolest 7-Eleven stores in the world, gorgeous temples & shrines, mountains known for amazing winter sports, natural hot springs in the forests of Hakone, the cleanest city streets; I think you probably get it; Japan is a wild experience & so different other destinations.

Culture + Romance

It doesn’t stop in London, even though it is the most-highly rated city in the world (& one of my personal favorites, too). A natural pick for a long weekend & perfect for a new traveler with incredible museums, history, parks, & public transportation. Head to the countryside & you’ll find the Cotswolds, where golden hour is perfection & thatched roofs still exist. England has a charm, you just have to get past the weather.

Scotland

Ancient castles, rolling Highland hills, the cutest cows you'll ever meet, and people so warm and genuine they'll make you feel like you belong within minutes. Fiji

Fiji is like so many beach getaways but so much more. An authentic paradise beyond the beachside resorts a rich culture awaits with fields of sugarcane, & the friendliest people in the world (I really mean this, I remember them after 22 years and 36 more countries). The gorgeous clear turquoise waters outside of your villa and a visit to Castaway Island that includes a glass bottom boat doesn’t hurt either.
